Manor, NSW – A popular NSW restaurant is no place for someone who has a disability.
The restaurant is a buffet for adults and children, and staff have to wear gloves to protect themselves.
A local ABC listener told the ABC the restaurant was in a “dire situation”.
“We’ve had people with disabilities come here and have been assaulted and have broken the doors down and it’s just not safe,” she said.
“You can’t have a buffet and a buffet is just no place to have a man or woman.”
But Manor Restaurant owner Tony De Vries says the situation has improved recently.
“We don’t really have any complaints about this, it’s always been very safe,” he said.
Manor Restaurant is now open at the corner of High Street and Wollongong Road.
